Social Security Disability
Scott J. Bowers
Scott has lived in Ohio his entire life, growing up in Marion until he was 20. Afterward, he spent his first two years of college life at the Marion branch of The Ohio State University, taking general curriculum courses. Having decided larger city life was more his speed, he moved to Columbus to finish his college degree at The Ohio State University, majoring in English. After some thought and dabbling in other careers, he decided that law was the field he was meant to pursue. At the ripe age of 29, he took the entrance exams, applied to schools in Ohio, and decided to stay in Columbus and attend Capital University Law School. There, he earned his J.D., cum laude, received the CALI award for earning the highest grade in his Constitutional Litigation class, and was a member of the Order of the Curia.
While in law school, Scott clerked at a firm that specialized in Workers’ Compensation cases. This helped him learn not only a large amount of medical jargon but also the daily issues that injured and ill workers struggle with. Upon graduation, he took a job at Hoglund, Chwialkowski, and Mrozik, focusing on Social Security Disability cases in and around the Columbus, Ohio Area.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids. He plays guitar (poorly), and enjoys reading.
